Energized batteries are shredded under oxygen-lean conditions to enhance safety and efficiency from the source. Thermal volatilization and oxygen-free pyrolysis are utilized to completely remove organic components. The residual electricity heat from the batteries, along with the self-combustion of volatilized pyrolysis gases, supplies heat, achieving energy savings and ensuring stability for downstream processes.
